THE GREAT WAR
Issue #1
In the year 2213 M.E. on planet Indaria, the imperial government of the zephyr dynasty of Eloria is in shambles. The imperial staff, the eight excellences argue and fight among themselves while the empress, empress Lori Zephyr whose family has ruled over Eloria for two hundred years sits in between them as they argue and fight over resources and gold. She tries to maintain peace between the excellence but none are backing down. This debate between the excellences has created poverty, division and tension between the twenty four regions of Eloria.
Then suddenly, the king, King Titus who controls four of the twenty four regions comes bursting in through the door slaying the excellences one by one. Imperial court guards try to stop Titus, but his army is too strong and they are cut down. All that remains in empress Lori. Titus towers over her.
“Good morning, your eminence. I will be taking over this court from here on out.” Titus grinned. Lori looks in shock.
As time progresses, Titus claims small territory after small territory in all the regions within the distance of the imperial court. Taking them violently and remorselessly. He forces Lori to send out imperial indictments for control and demanding such things as surrender, more taxes and a call to arms to bring down the regional lords. The lords rebel and fight back, all the lords claim their regions as their own rather than as part of the empire anymore and are separated from the empire. Titus does not approve of this, and he begins attacking the regional lords creating a great civil war between the region's people and their lords.
Ten years into the war, Titus now holds five regions and holds the strongest army with the most soldiers ranging in the millions and the other lords claim what is left of the regions whose numbers range in between 100 '000 to 500' 000 troops. The lords continue to fight against Titus but his numbers are strong, but this war has only just begun.
In a village high in the mountain surrounded by trees and waterfalls in the region of high forest. A land full of beauty and resources sits in the region of lordess Lydia Arillus; whose territory neighbors one of Titus’s controlled regions. There live the tribal people known as the Haiki. An elven people whose villages prospers. They’re farmers, weapon smiths, fishermen, hunters and magnificent archers including one particular smith Valdagarion but everyone calls him Vald for short.
They do business with Lydia’s region as well as her army selling resources and weapons but they are neutral in regards to the war. They do not take sides, they only do business with any who are willing to do business.
Vald is the village's top smith making strong powerful weapons. Even specialty weapons if needed. He is loading swords and shields onto a cart guided by two horses. His father Gomda is the tribal chief, his mother Mira is the healer. Gomda and Mira come out of the chieftain hut and walk over to Vald.
“Blessed morning my son, how is this shipment for lordess Lydia coming?” Gomda asked.
“Very well, father. It is almost ready. Ouch!” Vald spoke as he accidentally nips himself with the blade sliding his finger across it.
“Are you ok son?” Mira asked, walking over to him and healing his wound as if nothing was even there.
“Thanks mother. Yes I am fine thank you.”
“Once that shipment is ready, go on ahead and run it down to lordess Lydia.” Gomda requested.
“Yes father.”
“Be careful son.” Mira smiled hugging him and Gomda and Mira went about their day.
Vald finishes the last sword, puts in the carriage, he equips his bow and arrows and his two daggers for protection and heads on his way.
Meanwhile a few miles in the opposite direction is a small army of five thousand who are being led by one of Titus’s generals, General Durak.
Durak is leading his army against multiple small villages, and towns in Lydia’s region. Taking them down one by one. Killing innocents. Women and children without remorse.
In the capital city of Lydia’s region, the city of Bruma, Vald arrives at the main gate where he is greeted by the guards.
“Ah, Vald good to see you. We were waiting on this shipment. Go right in. Open the gate!” The guard spoke to the guards in the tower and the castle gate proceeded to open.
Vald goes riding into the large city, the people are happy, joyful. Treating each other with respect. The guards patrol the street in carefreeness. They greet Vald as he proceeds to the main castle at the center of the city. Lydia comes out to greet him.
“Ah hello Vald! Good to see you!” Lydia smiled checking her shipment. “Ah they look good as always. Thank you.” Lydia smiled motioning for a cart of gold to come forward.
Meanwhile Durak is now at the Haiki village killing the people. They try to fight, killing several of Duraks soldiers but ultimately Durak’s forces overcome the Haiki people leaving a trail of destruction behind him.
“Station a few men here. This is a nice village full of resources, tools, and horses. Keep a few men here to man this village and we are on towards the capital city of Bruma.
Back in the city as Lydia and Vald are finishing up their business, a soldier comes running up.
“Report! Titus’s general Durak is attacking the Haiki village! And on their way here!”
Lydia and Vald look at one another in shock. Vald disconnects the cart and mounts a horse, leaving the gold behind. Lydia looks at him in concern.
“Alright! Sound the drum! Let the people know we are about to come under attack!” Lydia orders.
A soldier beats on the drum, the people scramble to get to their homes and safety, the soldiers rally and hurry out to the front of the gate. They’re finally assembled and Lydia’s lady general Jordis is leading the defense. As they look to the main road. They see Durak and his soldiers come running down full speed.
“Archers ready! Soldiers ready! Do not fear! We must hold our ground here. On my command! Ready! Steady!” Jordis starts as she waits for the army to get close enough for the arrows. “Fire!”
The archers fire their arrows, Durak orders his archers to fire theirs. Many soldiers on both sides are hit. They fall from the top of the city wall, Durak soldiers fall from their horses as their horses crash to the ground, tumbling and knocking other soldiers off their horses.
“Charge! Do not give in to fear!” Jordis shouts as she and her soldiers charge Durak’s forces. The anticipation on both sides grows as they get ever closer to colliding. The soldiers on both sides collide killing each other. Durak and Jordis do battle on horseback as the armies around them do battle on the ground.
Meanwhile, Vald is approaching his village. He sees armored guards at the main gate of his village. He looks in worry. He proceeds to move closer in the brush that surrounds the village trying to move closer undetected.
Finally as he is close enough, he quietly draws his bow and two arrows firing at the guards at the gate killing them. He fires at the guards surveying the area from the village walls, killing them. Then he moves up. He pushes the gate open. The small numbers of soldiers look in confusion as they see the gate open but no one there to open it.
“Go check that out.” a soldier orders another. So the soldier draws his sword and approaches with caution. Vald draws his daggers silently. The soldier spots the two down guards with arrows in their chest. He stands up to turn around to look back at the soldiers in the city and notions they’re under attack. Then suddenly a dagger pierces the soldiers back to his chest and he falls to the ground.
“Archers fire!” a soldier ordered. Vald is quick and ducks behind cover. He fires back killing the archers and any other soldiers who try to come his way. He runs out of arrows and pulls his daggers and charges the lead soldier, cutting arrows down from two remaining archers. He rolls and thrusts his blade upward into the lead soldier, killing him. He picks up two arrows and another bow and fires at the two remaining archers, killing them.
He looks around the village to see the bodies of his fallen villagers. He looks for his parents and sees them laying by the creek. He hurries to their side.
“Mother! Father! No!” Vald spoke quickly, dropping to the ground as he saw them lying lifeless on the ground. He cuddles them both tightly and lets out a loud cry.
Back at the city, the two armies continue to do battle, Jordis’s forces of being overrun by Duraks and they charge into the city. Jordis hurries away to try and make it to Lydia before Durak and his forces do.
“My lady! We need to get out of here! They have breached the city. We must escape to the city of Riverrun in the white river region and regroup our forces. Let us hurry.” Jordis pleaded and they hurried to a secret door and left the city through a back entrance.
Durak comes busting into the main hall with his forces.
“Oh well. This city belongs to king Titus now.” Durak smiled. “Victory!” Durak cheered and all his soldiers cheered along with him.
A few days have past now, and Vald, covered in dirt and mud, digs graves for all the fallen of his village. He buries them one by one in a beautiful mountain top that looks over the region as the sun beams down on him.
Lastly he walks up to his parents who are on a hill. Laying across a three row wooden stack under a fire pit. where he has them nicely dressed in the tradition of their ways of life which is white robes and sandals, laying in makeshift coffins without doors. He climbs up the steps and kisses his mother and fathers head and then slowly climbs back down with tears in his eyes.
He holds a torch to the sky, closes his eyes and lights the torch from a little fire and then he lights the fire under the wood planks where his parents lay. The flame rises quickly and begins reaching into the coffins.
Vald falls to his knees and looks up at his parents' coffins as the flames engulf them and the ashes rise to the sky. He stands up and walks to the cliff and looks down what looks like it goes for miles. Suddenly the sunlight moves into a position where a small portion of the sun's ray beams down onto him.
He looks up in tears. Down the cliff. He suddenly stops crying and looks up with a look of determination on his face.
“Something must be done about this war that needs to end. I don’t know if I will be able to make a difference if I do not die first. But I will do everything I can to bring this war to an end, or I will die trying.” Vald spoke looking to the sky.
He turns back and walks towards his village angered and determined. He heads to his smithing table and starts working on a weapon. He works for several days. From sunrise to sunset. Finally his weapons are done, which are two swords with distinct features.
He carries them to the training ground, and practices with the blades with a sinew and hemp string that would extend or retract based on his movements. Then he twirls them elegantly and suddenly combines the two handles making a bow and quickly fires an arrow hitting the target dead center. He admires his shot and disconnects the sword handles and makes them back into two individual swords and sheaths them on his back.
With his village mostly destroyed with only a few buildings standing along with his smithing store. He closes the gates and seals them with a chain and heads into the forest.
Meanwhile back at Riverrun, Lydia sits by the river that flows through the city in sadness. Jordis comes walking up behind her.
“My lady… I received word that the Haiki people have been completely wiped out. We can no longer reach out to them for supplies. We need to find another smith. We have one here in the city. Would you like me to instruct the smith to start making weapons for the forces here?” Jordis asked.
“How many troops do we have here?” Lydia asked.
“With the ones who survived the raid and the forces here we still have one hundred and fifty thousand. All is not lost.”
Lydia sighs heavily and stands up then nods.
“Go ahead and get Glenna the smith to make our people weapons and get them made as soon as possible.”
Jordis nods and leaves Lydia.
“This chaos needs to end. I will be the one to do it.” Lydia spoke in determination.
In another region ruled by a man named Ian Thius who has an army of five hundred thousand sits on his throne going through documents. Then a soldier comes running in.
“Report! My lord, Lady Lydia has suffered a crushing defeat. Duraks people have stationed troops in the city of Bruma. Should he decide to attack the Riverrun region, ours will be next on the list.” the soldier spoke.
“Heed my orders, increase training. Make sure we are well stocked and defenses are well established. We will hold here until we are ready to strike.” Ian spoke.
“Yes master” the soldier said as he left.
Ian looks at his grand general Arin.
“Arin, do you think Durak will send his troops here?” Ian asked.
“With the heavy defeat that Lydia suffered, she won’t be able to really fight for at least six months to a year. If Riverrun falls, that will give Durak the momentum he needs to move in on us.” Arin added.
“What should we do?”
“Well my lord, we could always send them reinforcements. We may be separate from the empire because of Titus but that doesn’t mean everyone is our enemy.”
“How many should we send?”
“From what I understand Lady Lydia has about one hundred and fifty troops at Riverrun. We have five hundred thousand men, we could send at least twenty thousand of our soldiers to improve their numbers. Use Lydia to hold off Durak, until we are fully prepared to do battle with Titus.”
“Good. do that. Make sure Lydia knows who the reinforcement came from.”
“Yes my lord.”
Another regional lord who holds the central region of Eloria from Titus controls an army of eight hundred thousand men. In the city of Amora, He sits on his throne in his office, writing on a piece of paper which reads:
“I, Lord Harkon, Lord of the central region, I am going to take a stand against the imperial traitor Titus. I am sending out a call to arms for any regional lord who would be willing to join me in this endeavor to bring the traitor of the throne to justice. Bring as many men as you can spare. Let us end this war and bring the traitor Titus to justice. Should you decide to join this alliance, we will be meeting at Ocana pass on the first of the summer's seed. Let us unite our forces to bring an end to this chaos once and for all.
Lord Harkon”
Harkon looks at his penmanship and admires his writing.
“Guard! Please go and tell Grand General Drake I will need to see him immediately.” Harkon spoke.
“Yes sire.” the soldier spoke and made haste.
Drake, fully armored, comes walking in.
“Lord, I am here at your command.” Drake said.
“Yes, I need you to get several of our men to copy this decree. Once done, send messengers and the messenger pigeons to deliver them. understood?” Harkon ordered.
“Yes my lord.”
After a few days. The messengers deliver the decree to the neighboring regions and the pigeons deliver to the furthest points of Eloria reaching all the lords across the realm.
Many of the lords and lordesses read the decree. Some jump to prepare their soldiers and prepare to move out, while other lords nod in disappointment and laughter and throw the letter away. The letters have reached far and wide across the realm and many set out.
Lydia receives the letter from a messenger and proceeds to read it.
“An alliance? This is good. The only problem is, we do not have any men to really spare for this endeavor after our grave defeat.” Lydia spoke.
Suddenly a soldier comes running.
“My lady, a general by the name of Mara, is outside the city with twenty thousand men from lord Ian. They wish to reinforce us.”
“Allow them to enter.”
“Yes my lady.”
The guards open the door, and Jordis is there to greet Mara and her soldiers.
“Welcome General, right this way.” Jordis motioned.
Mara and her men follow behind Jordis to the castle where Lydia sits in wait.
“Greetings your eminence, I have brought you twenty thousand of our troops to reinforce you at the orders of Lord Ian himself.”
“That’s wonderful. Please tell Lord Ian I am grateful.”
Jordis looks in confusion.
“My lady, I must speak with you alone.” Jordis spoke.
“Oh? Ok, General Mara, will you please wait just outside the door, I will be with you in just a moment.” Lydia requested. Mara nods in agreement and leaves the room.
“What is wrong Jordis?” Lydia asked.
“Don’t you find it odd that Ian sent us twenty thousand of his men to reinforce us? He wouldn’t do that unless there was an ulterior motive.” Jordis started.
“What Ulterior motive could he have? He and I are not at war with each other.”
“No, but I feel he is feigning concern, and seeks to implant spies among our ranks so he can learn our land layout and take over for himself. If you accept his help, I would advise you to proceed with caution on this matter.”
Lydia looks in shock.
“You could be right, but if it concerns you, I will take those twenty thousand troops to the alliance and fight on the frontlines for us. They can’t infiltrate us if they are fighting for us. In the process, tell magistrate Hadvar to focus on recruiting while we are away. Durak will have no choice but to flee back to Titus if he learns the alliance is preparing to attack or at the very least hold his advancement on the eastern river region. Go and tell Mara to reenter.”
“Yes my lady.”
Mara comes walking back in.
“General Mara I thank you and your men for coming, please get them ready to move out. We are heading to join the alliance at Ocana pass.”
“But my lady… we can reinforce you.”
“And fight for us right? Well get them ready. They can fulfill their purpose among our ranks by joining me on the campaign against Titus.”
“Yes my lady…” Mara signed.
“Jordis, you will accompany me as well. Let general Ella know she is in charge until we return.” Lydia ordered.
“Yes my lady.”
Ian’s reinforcement troops join Lydia’s ranks and proceed to head out. But three sneak away from the back and disappear into the city.
Back at the imperial city, a guard comes running in as Titus sits on his throne with empress Lori beside him on a lesser throne and Durak beside him. A soldier comes running in, in fear.
“My lord, rumors have been spreading that several of the regional lords are gathering at the behest of Lord Harkon to attack us. Forming an alliance.” the soldier pleaded.
“Good, let them try. It will make it easier for me to eliminate them instead of me having to go on my own. Summon general Lokir.”
“Yes my lord.”
General Lokir comes walking into the throne room fully geared and ready to go. He is a tall stocky man carrying a great sword on his back.
“You call me my liege?”
“Yes, I want you to find out where this alliance is supposed to be meeting and head there to meet them. Take an army of three hundred thousand elite soldiers.”
“Yes my liege.” said Lokir as he hurriedly left the throne room.
Meanwhile In the forest at nightfall, Vald sits by a fire in a campsite he has built up. As he sits there warming his hands, a soft wind blows a decree letter beside him. He looks down and picks up and proceeds to read it. He looks to the sky.
“Mother, father. I will bring an end to this chaos in your honor, one way or another or I will join you in heaven.” Vald spoke as he folds up the letter and puts it in his pocket and lays down to sleep.
A week later, generals begin showing up to the city of Amora with their soldiers. Vald comes walking over the hill to see the armies gathering. Their numbers stretch for miles. Vald smiles and proceeds down the hill.
The generals check in with the guards.
“Lord Harkon, brings thirty thousand infantry. Lordess Aela, brings twenty thousand archers. Lordess Luna brings ten thousand calvary. Lord Ian brings ten thousand infantry and ten thousand calvary equaling a total of twenty thousand men. Lord Baron brings ten thousand naval troops, and twenty thousand infantry equaling a total of twenty thousand men.”
Then Vald comes walking up.
“Who are you?” the guard asked.
“My name is Valdagarion. I am here to join the alliance.” Vald introduced.
The guard looks him up and down showing no signs of lordship. He begins to laugh.
“Haha. you? How many troops do you bring with you?”
“Just myself.”
The other guards join in on the laughter then Lydia comes walking up.
“Oh sorry lordess Lydia. Was just about to boot this nobody officer away from the gate.” the guard said.
Lydia looks and recognizes that it’s Vald but she sees the anger within him knowing what has happened to his family.
“We were all once nobodies before. I was a nobody until I defeated the lord of the high forest region in fair combat who was also my husband. Now I’m bringing twenty thousand men to this alliance. You never know what someone is made of until you see yourself.”
“Oh yes of course… go ahead Lordess Lydia and… what was your name?”
“Valdagarion.”
“Valdagarion brings… himself no troops to the alliance. Go ahead and don’t get killed…” the guard chuckled.
Vald showing no emotion whatsoever walks into the large city. Lydia goes in behind him.
“Vald wait…” Lydia said as she dismounted her horse. Vald stops slowly. “I’m sorry about your village and your family. They were the best smiths and gardeners in the region. And we are all good friends. I will avenge them. I promise.” Lydia said.
Vald just looks at her with a cold calm look on his face and proceeds on without a single word. Jordis joins Lydia’s side.
“Is he going to be alright?” Jordis asked.
“His whole family, his village, all were killed and destroyed by Titus? How would you feel?”
“He’s going to get killed in this battle…”
“Yes… that is my fear as well…” Lydia said as they proceeded on.
Few days later, Lokir and his men arrived just outside the main base camp of the alliance in the mountain side. He looks up to the gate guards.
“Attention guards. I am here to challenge your alliance and bring your best generals out. Or are you going to be cowards and remain in your little mountain fort?” Lokir taunted.
All the generals gather around a large round table.
“Welcome lords and lordesses. We have all gathered here today because we wish to bring an End to Titus’s tyranny. I will introduce the lords and lordess. Lordess Aela, Lord Ian, Lordess Lydia, Lord Baron, Lordess Iona and Lord John.” Harkon introduced without acknowledging Vald.
Vald stands at the door in silence. Lydia looks at Vald.
“Lords and Lordess this is Lord Vald. Lord of Haiki.” Lydia tried to introduce.
“Haiki? The village of your region that Titus destroyed! haha How many troops you bring.”
“Just myself.” Vald replied calmly.
“All the lords and lordess’s laugh except for Lydia who felt bad for introducing him not knowing it would embarrass him.
“Just you huh ha-ha. Ok… yeah some get this… lord… a seat.” Harkon laughed.
A soldier brings a barrel for him to sit on in an open spot in the corner of the table. Vald calmly walks over to it. People looked at him in wonder, wondering how he can accept such a lowly seat without complaint.
Then suddenly a gate guard comes running in.
“My lord. King Titus has sent his general Lokir to challenge us to a duel.” the guard spoke.
“Lokir? He is Titus’s number four general out of his five fierce generals.” Ian said.
“Who will go out and challenge him?” Harkon asked.
They all look around at one another. Then a general steps up.
“Lord Harkon, this is my general Brogue, he will go out and challenge Lokir. He is my number three general.” Ian said.
“Very good we will toast to your victory.” Harkon said and they all raise their cups and drink and then Brogue goes walking out.
After a few moments, Brogue comes charging out on his horse with his sword and shield drawn. Lokir just grins as Brogue engages in combat with Lokir. Lokir blocks a few of Brogue’s attacks but then thrusts his large spear into Brogue’s chest, killing him with little effort.
Back in the base a guard comes running in.
“Lord! Brogue was killed only a few seconds into the fight. He didn’t stand a chance.” the guard spoke.
Everyone signs heavily looking at each other in shock. Ian expressions heavy sadness.
“He was a good warrior,” someone whispered.
“Fine, who is next? Who wants to go out and challenge Lokir to battle?” Harkon asked.
Once again everyone looks at one another. Aela stands up.
“Commander, my general Njada, she is skilled in archery as well as a sword. She will fight against Lokir.” Aela said.
“Good! Let us toast to her safe return.” Harkon said.
They all hold up their cups of hot tea and toast and then Njada goes walking out.
She comes charging on her horse towards Lokir. Lokir just nods in disappointment. She fires an arrow at him but he deflects it no problem and then she engages in hand to hand combat with him. He quickly shoves his spear into her chest and flips her off her horse and twists his spear killing her. The gate guards express frustration.
Back in the base camp the soldier comes running in again.
“Lord, Lady Njada was slayed just one second into the fight. She died, sir.”
They all look in shock.
“Who else will go out and challenge him?” Harkon asked.
Lord Baron stands up.
“My general Markus will go out and challenge him.”
The general chat among themselves.
“Markus is a great warrior.” Someone said,
“Yeah he hasn’t lost a duel yet.” another person said.
“An exceptional warrior.” someone else said.
“Good, we will toast to his victory.”
Outside, Markus goes charging Lokir. They engage spear to spear. They block each other's attacks and Markus gives a good attempt but is slain by Lokir.
Back in the camp a guard comes running in.
“Lord, Markus has been slain. He gave a good fight but he could not beat Lokir.”
They all express anger and frustration.
“Alright! Who else will go out there to challenge him?” Harkon said.
“If we can’t beat his number four, what is going to happen if we encounter his grand general Durak?” Baron asked.
Vald looks in calming anger at the name.
“So no one else will go out to challenge Lokir? *sighs* too bad my generals Beirend and Calder aren't here. They would have defeated him quickly. So no one will go out to do battle then?” Harkon asked.
“Should we just surrender?” Baron asked.
Then Vald stands up but this time Harkon doesn’t stand up to toast like he did the other generals. Lydia looks in shock.
“A toast!” Lydia started pouring the tea.
“No… that won’t be necessary… I’ll be back soon.” Vald said walking out. Everyone laughs loudly except for Lydia.
“If our top warriors can’t win, what makes him think he can?” Aela asked.
“Haha let him go… let him get himself killed.” Baron spoke.
Lydia showing disguise for the generals.
Outside, Lokir looks up on the hill to see Vald. He looks at Valds unique weapon and tilts his head. Vald calmly comes out. The gate guard shook their heads in disappointment.
“So they must not have any good warriors left so they sent this guy out.” the guard from sign in said.
Lokir sighs in disappointment as Vald comes out calmly. Suddenly an arrow is fired landing in front of Lokir’s horse, causing the horse to throw Lokir off then Vald charges. He jumps off his horse and kicks Lokir to the ground. And delivers a downward attack so fierce that when Lokir blocks, Valds blade cuts Lokir’s shoulder.
Lokir struggles to push Vald back but finally does and goes to deliver a fierce blow but Vald deflects. They go toe to toe with each other.
Then Vald kicks Lokir back and stands there unexhausted unlike Lokir who shows heavy signs of exhaustion. The guards at the gate look in shock as do Lokir’s men. Lokir tries to charge with what little energy he has left but Vald flips over Lokir and fires an arrow at Lokir piercing through the back of his neck into his throat, killing him.
Vald walks over to Lokir, and cuts his head off. The guards at the gate cheer, chant and clap in shocking joy at Vald’s victory.
Back in the base camp, Vald comes walking in, and throws Lokir’s head on the center of the round table of the lords and quietly walks back to his seat without a word. His sword dripped with blood with not a sign of a scratch on him. Lydia feels the tea cup and it is still warm to the touch. She smiles.
The lords all just look at Vald in shock and some in fear.
“I hereby announce a new force shall be added to the alliance against Titus. Lord Valdagarion of Haiki.” Harkon spoke.
Vald stands up. Then a guard comes walking in.
“My lord. Some of Lokir’s soldiers wish to speak with lord Vald.” the guard said.
Everyone looks in shock and chats among themselves as Vald stands up and walks out of the command room. The other lords and generals follow. Lydia just cracks a smile as if she knows what is about to happen.
Vald meets the soldiers at the gate with alliance soldiers holding their spears at the ready. A woman comes stepping out.
“Lord Vald. I am General Gabriella, former of fourth grand general Lokir. I wish to pledge my allegiance and that of my lady archers as well, to your forces.”
Lydia just smiles.
“How many troops do you bring with you, general?” Lydia asked for Vald.
Gabriella looks at Vald.
“Thirty thousand elite archers my lord.” Gabriella spoke to Vald as she stepped aside to let him see his vast army which goes back up for miles.
Vald just smiles with determination in his eyes.
